Real Wedding - Emma + Michael

We enjoyed working with Emma and Michael to create their industrial meets vintage wedding. Emma looked stunning in her George Wu dress.

The Ceremony was held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in New Farm and the Reception at Lightspace in Fortitude Valley. Photography by World renowned Jonas Peterson, who captured some beautiful moments throughout the day.

Lightspace was transformed from an industrial warehouse to a vintage showroom for Emma & Michael's Wedding Reception.

The Wedding Cake was produced by Gina D'Arcy's Cakes Actually and Flowers by the talented Geraldine from Bouquet Boutique.

A family tradition from Nana Mc'Call, with the offering of a Silver Teaspoon for the guest to keep and use for their tea and coffee.

The Stationery was designed by Invitation Station.

The new trend coming to weddings is the Polaroid Camera for guests to take photos with each other, write a message and in this case, peg it to a tree for Emma and Michael to take home.

Aria Catering created some incredible food throughout the evening but the Charcuterie Station was a hit accompanied by some roaming canapes, followed by a delicious banquet style feast for the guests to share.

Something for the guests to take home -  a bottle of Homemade Balsamic Vinegar or Olive Oil with two material drink coasters for the guests to remember the evening.

Another beautiful wedding held at Lightspace, the perfect setting for the modern Bride.

The STATION is the new kid on the block!

It's all about the "FOOD" for us at white+white at the moment. Last time we spoke about the importance of selecting a style and specific foods that really compliment the Couple and their guests. Today we are focusing on the new craze of food stations sweeping the wedding and event industry.

Food stations are a great way for guests to interact with other guests, as well as enjoying the finger food idea in a whole new light. Aria Catering recently catered Emma + Michael’s Wedding at Lightspace with us using this style. Guests were spoilt with a Charcuterie Station (Cured Meats & Tapas & Breads) was, during the pre-drinks hour followed by a delicious banquet served with Poached Atlantic Salmon, Duck Cassoulet and Crumbed Lamb Rack accompanied by mixed Greens. Yummy!

Along with a Charcuterie Station Aria also offers a Risotto Station, where the Chef cooks the Risotto right in front of you on a board, which generates fabulous aromas throughout the venue and creates a fun and flavoursome station.

White + White recently attended a three course corporate luncheon at Aria with fellow Wedding and Event Suppliers. The afternoon was filled with delicious food and wonderful conversation, a fabulous way to spend an afternoon.

We look forward to working with Aria Catering on our future weddings!
